Latest with our Santa
Hello to all of Bow’s followers of this blog. Sorry it has been a minute since our last post. After another busy but successful Christmas season, Santa has cleaned and put his suit away for now. He was even well enough to go to Arizona to spread some of that Santa spirit as well as visiting with friends and family.
Bow finished his 13th immunotherapy treatment yesterday, March 7. He had a PET Scan on March 1 and while there are a few things spotted on the scan his oncologist does not think they are cancer. He will need the dreaded colonoscopy and be seen by his dermatologist to confirm what the oncologist said. So for now, his doctor is not worried. He did have a bad case of Covid about 3 weeks ago but after a round of Paxlovid he has recovered fully. He continues to have some body and joint aches and pains as well as feeling very tired but all of this are side effects of the immunotherapy drug. He will continue his treatments for at least another year but we are hopeful that he will then be able to at least take a break for a bit. He has been trying to stay as busy as possible with his calling at church as well as helping me stay somewhat sane with all the things I get into. We also enjoy the time we get to spend with family. Overall he is doing great. We sure do appreciate all that reach out to check on him and everyone that follows this blog.
